Crash Twinsanity

Wow I finally bought "Crash Twinsanity"!!!
It's fantastic game, I like how Vivendi Universal Games worked on Crash and Cortex's expressions; This game reminds to me my first videogame for Playstation: "Crash Bandiccot 2 - Cortex strikes back". ;D =)

There's a little lack of continuity in the story, probably because you spend a lot of time between all the various chapters (and probably because the italian dubbing is not perfect) :P ;)

They put one the cover "+3".
What the ... how could a 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 years old child play that game???
It's hard even for me! XD ahahahah Maybe because it's too flexible.

Anyway I spent these last two days playing without stops (except for sleeping and eating) and probably I reached the first half of the whole game! :P XD

Maybe it's still too early if we consider United States, ... anyway here's already the 14th of May (0:40 AM) and I want to say

I realized that I didn't prepared anything for this special occasion, so I picked up my pencil and I drew a super-mega-quick birthday doodle for you! =)
It's a bit stupid and simple perhaps, but I absolutely wanted to show you a sign of my appreciation and this is the result; I hope you like it anyway! ;) XD

Hi everybody!!! I promised to post more recipes, so here's another one: Risotto con la Luganega (Rice with Sausage)... or Risotto alla Monzese.

As the name says, it's a typical plate that you can find in the city of Monza.
Ingredients:
- Olive Oil
- Onion
- Sausage
- White Wine
- Salt
- Rice
- Saffron
- Chicken Bouillon Cubes (one per person)

You can start putting directly into the pressure cooker some olive oil to slowly fry some very fine sliced onion (a tablespoon and half per person), then add the sausage and let it fry it slowly too; when the onion becomes "soft" you can add the rice and let it toast a bit, then you can put an half glass of white wine (half glass is enough for 2 or 3 persons more or less); when the alcohol boils off you can put the chicken bouillon cubes (personally I suggest Knorr), then you can put some water (you have to obtain 200 gr of broth per each 100 gr of rice); put a very little quantity of saffron.

Since you put the rice into the mixture, it has to cook for 20-25 minutes more or less.

At this point you can close the pressure cooker ...

REMEMBER: keep moving and mixing the ingredients while the pressure cooker is opened)

(it could cook for 9 or 10 minutes, it depends by the rice quality)

Since I came back from Italy my sweet dog Diva refuse to sleep inside her wooden house even during rainy days.
I don't understand why ... I cleaned it, I put inside her favourite blanket, but nothing!
I don't know what to do, do you have any good idea?

Please, it's Important! I'm worried!

Sooo ... I have a new friend at home! Well, maybe it's just a "part" of a friend ;)
It's a cat's head, a skull; I decided to call him BEPI (short form of Giuseppe - Joseph - in Bergamasque dialect) XD

Just a random thought:
I was nervous, so I picked up my old Boken (Wooden Sword) and I sarted spearing the air all around ... moving here and there on my terrace! It's wonderful ... I feel so relaxed! =)
I just wish to have somebody else to train myself in a duel now! ;) XD

Well, well, well ... Here we are!
I would like to start with a short note: it was time of elections during this month and I'm happy to see that Silvio Berlusconi won; the result was 47,3% for PDL (right wing) - 38,0% for PD (left wing) - 14,7% for the rest

On another side I find this funny photo on the newspaper: Hollywood is not longer the only one with giant letters on a hilltop! XD Here you see the "BRIANZA", a particular region in Lombardy.

Ok! Now we can start ...
With my beloved Monza (here you can read my old post with a bit of history abou the city);
First I want to show you some photos, then I'll explain some personal things.

The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist founded in 595 (VI century) by Teodelinda, Queen of Longobards (people who gave the name to our actual region Lombardy) and rebuilt during the XIII century.

(Sorry, but there's a little distorsion because I assebled two different photos)

The Bronze Moon, ancient symbol of the City; It's set on an old wooden girder in a house close to the Cathedral's cloister

... And my old High School! After more than 30 years they finally decided to put a nice plaque at the entrance!!! XD

Now some explanations: ;)
I spend all those days helping my grandparents in preparing things for their new house, visiting Monza and Milano ... and meeting my old friends; We went often in a wonderful pub in Cabiate, "Il Fundeghè" (The Grocer in Milanese dialect), where they've 400 different kinds of beer from every part of the world. I discovered that I love Belgian Beers :P ;) =)

On a wall of and old farmsted in Cabiate is still possible to read a old phrase written during the Fascist Period:

"Diciamo che solo Iddio può piegare la Volontà Fascista: Gli uomini e le cose mai!"
"We can say that only the Great God can subdue the Fascist Will: Men and things (will) never (can do it)!"

We spent nice evenings and nights together; here you can see some photos at Marika's home while eating a couple of pizzas (and in this case my friend Marcello, aka Ezius, is eating a bit of Marika too ;)

... And me!!! What can I say now? I love to make that face :P

Milano: It could be a wonderful city just like London, Paris and Barcelona ... but it's a bit "disorganized"; I hope that with this thing of Expo 2015 they'll improve under many aspects.
Anyway it's a nice city if you know where to look! ;) =)

I met two new friends too! Here you can see one ... and a half! XD
In that occasion I had the pleasure to meet featherclaw and artemisio87; they're wonderful girls ... =)
They're were so patient listening to me all those times when I needed them! We spent a nice afternoon walking in Milano and talking about various things.

They day after I came back, but I didn't found the girls cause they were busy ... so I decided to visit again one of my favourite museums: the Natural History Museum.
(It was like my second home! ;)

The Royal Palace just on the southern side of the Duomo (there was a nice exposition too: Balla and Canova)

... And then I visited my favourite place: the Duomo.
The gothic cathedral of Milano built in 1386 and officially finished in 1813, but pratically never ended; that's because when they finished it, they started a still operating renovation process. This is because we say that it's "eternal" X) =D
Here you can see how it should have appeared ... but after the XVIII century they decide to change the facade project.

... and the Madonnina, the Holy Mother who protected the City of Milano for many centuries.

The Duomo (Mariæ Nascenti) is the second biggest gothic cathedral in the world with its 5 naves! The first one is in Sevilla (Spain) ... anyway it's not so tall; it's wide but not as tall as the Dome of Cologne, that's is the second highest gothic cathedral in the world.
Just under the small dome there's an iron nail of the holy cross; it's possible to find it pointing to the red light.

I particularly like this one; it was an experimental work about "evolution of the matter" and its creation.

... And then, the last night, I found my old friends again! We went in a nice pub in Monza: the Gulliver.
I spent a lot of days with them and it was spectacular. Laughing, sketching, writing, walking, drinking ... we did everything like the old times; it was fantastic!

Soooooo, I've finished the base for the first page (more or less) but personally I don't like it; I decided to redraw it on a new sheet of paper. ;)
I need to take a short break because this comic was turning into a obligation instead of a pleasure. =S

I was forcing myself to draw something in a wrong way ... :P
Well, I think I'll post that page here just to show you how it was turnig out; as I've already told you, I'll change it in another way.
Anyway ... Enjoy! =)

PS: I particularly like how the third panel turned out! =) (Sorry for the bad scan, but It's on A3 and I had to scan it piece by piece)
PPS: I particularly hate how the monk's eyes turned out in the second panel! XD

The first page of my comic took me more time than I thought ... but now I'm going to finish it (without inks), probably it's because I've never drawn a comic before and at the same time I want it absolutely perfect; :P (and I spent 4-5 days without touching a pencil too)
Now, I don't know if post it or not! What do you think guys?

Maybe I can post it (only this first page) just to show you how I'm developing the project, so you can correct me if necessary! ;)
... Then I'll post the whole comic when I'll finish it.

What do you think? ... Is it better to show just the first page or not? If "yes" would you help me finding my mistakes? =)
