Hi everybody! I finally have a paypal account, so I'll finally able to accept commissions, donations and do a couple of things more! =)

I want to thank you all for reading my journal ... and I hope to thank you all in next future for buying something with my signature on it ;D In other words, asking me commissions and other things like LJ Icons, Bagdes, Sketches ... etc.
As many people do, I want to put my "tip jar" too; donations are always welcome! ;) they'll sure help me in buying new art supplies. However I want to underline that's not obligatory, it's just a detail to help an 'Artist' with his works (of course). =)

Thanks for your attention guys ... and thanks for your potential donations!!!

Ahahahah!!! finally, I think I found the right way to draw my character; now we can start with a bit of Kung Fu mixed with some imagination. ;)
I thought to start with something simple: facing the 'adversary' could be a nice beginning (BTW, I love that stupid sand-filled pear) XD
However, he may look like a normal, gentle and easygoing hare ... but don't let it deceive you, he has a lot aces in his hole! If two six-guns and twelve shots are not enough, you'll find a lot of suprises hidden under his waistcoat and sleeves; so, don't make him angry, or he'll show you that even hares have claws. :P ;D

Next time I'll try to draw a duel with Tigress and some expressions! Eheh
I really like how his face and proportions turned out; ... and you? What do you think about it? How close am I getting?
(I know, I'm boring, but this is the first time that I feel free to draw again. It's really important -for me- to keep experimenting like this!)
Please, be patient ... ok? =D Well, let's read your comments now. =)

Just another one ... I've to fix a couple of things here (I don't like it very much); tomorrow I'll try again with some facial expression a 'normal' poses.

Hey ... three days, three pages with sketches!!! =)
I can't believe it! XD

Well, here's another piece of paper with something new; I think I'm getting even closer. It's not that easy for me to change my method! :P
I'm pretty satisfied of this new head, now it's a lot cleaner and simple; I also started with the body: I tried to invent some new (strange) proportions). You have the main example in that side view.

It works after all, I think! However, I'm always ready to listen your opinion ... suggestions are welcome, you know. ;)

Mmmmh ... I think I'm getting closer; with those eyes and triangular-shaped head it looks a bit more Dreamwork-ish, I suppose! XD
What do you think guys? Can you see any improvement? =)

Please, let me know If you have suggestions. BTW, would someone of you help me with this thing? I mean, would you be so kind to show me how you'd represent a "Kung Fu Hare"? ;D :P ahah

Well, well, well ... a sketch finally! =D
Someone will surely know that I love Spaghetti Westerns and revolvers ... and, since I recently watched 'Kung Fu Panda', I decided to do a little experiment: I drew my hare character mixing those two elements with a bit of Kung Fu style. I'm not a good cartoonist and probably this thing is not very close to the style I was looking for, however I like it so far. =) ;)

I just have to confess that I really don't understand how to draw those feet!!! They've such small feet in that movie ... XD Ihihih
Tomorrow I'll try to draw something more.
Now I'm curious to read your opinions guys! ;D

Here comes the fastest graphic designer you'll ever find in the Great Plains ... I mean, the Padan Plain :P
Thanks again Niko! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks ... =)

Here's that important thing I was talking about a couple of posts ago; this a particular sketch I prepared, it's a collaboration between me and [info]thornwolf . Since I'm a bit lazy I'll copy and past the description I put on DeviantArt: =)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
"As you know, I don't often draw anthro characters ... this was a nice experiment! :)
I'm very patriotic, so I decided to draw something about that; this scene represents our characters during a battle to reconquer Castle Sforza in Milano (Italia). The city of Milan was destroyed and occupied many times, strangers has always been attracted by its riches and the worst period (probably) was during the Spanish Domination. For this reason, our fictional army is trying to kick out the Spanish soldiers from the Castle. :P

I tried to assemble this composition in an "Old Way", I tried to imitate the great paintings of the past; this explains why it doesn't look exactly "real". :D I really hope you like it! I'm curious to read your opinions now! Please, leave a comment ... BTW, no reference used for the castle; I just used a couple of photos for those two armours and few other details."

--------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want some detailed explanations ... please, ask! ;)
As I've already said on DA: please, leave a comment! This is really important!

Well, well, well ... now I think I've just found my biggest mistake in that composition: I absolutely wanted to use a pose that can't work in that composition, I started with a (wrong) preconceived thing; It's mathematical:

(Wrong and) forced ideas means (wrong and) unsatisfactory works!

I think I'll restart again and this time I won't use references, I don't want to adapt things, that shall be natural; I'll only use my mind to create this composition!

I'll start "Ex-Novo" even with my ideas!
BTW, this was my second experiment (it's just a doodle, but I'd appreciate some comments anyway ;)

Well, this is a first idea of what I'm going to prepare, unfortunately I lost the piece of paper with my best composition test ... so I had to reconstruct it inside my mind.

I like this sketch even if it has a lot of defects, but this is not what I wanted to do; I wanted to communicate another concept, so I'm going to restart on another piece of paper!
I want something really good, something well balanced, dynamic and realistic. (I think I'll use Dutch paintings as reference when I'll start with my watercolours)

I have to study another pose, something a bit more "tragic".
However, I'd be curious to read your opinion about this ... I'll glad to know what you think! =) Comments are always welcome.

This should be 21 x 30 cm (8,2 x 11,8 Inches)
I never drew something this big before. :P

I need some suggestions about a personal work I'm going to start:
I want to draw my medieval werewolf character during a battle, I'd like to do something realistic but I don't know; is it better a defensive pose or an attacking pose? :P

I would like to draw an interesting pose (he holds a "one-hand-and-half" sword and a medium sized axe, similar to a tomahawk), can anybody help me? I'd appreciate your opinion about potential references too! =)
I tought to take a look about how Prince of Persia main characters fights.

Poll #1298424 Defending or Attacking?
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 7

Would you prefer an attacking pose or not?

View Answers

Yes, I think that a good aggressive pose would fit pretty well! It's the most evocative choice.
2 (28.6%)

No, a good defensive pose would fit anyway if you're able to create a good ambiance!
5 (71.4%)

Hi everybody, I don't feel completely good yet, but well ... a good cup of tea always helps! ;)
I want to say HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you all! I think I'll post a good recipe for this occasion when I'll have time:

Risotto con la Zucca - Rice with Pumpkin
(Anyway I think I'll post another recipe first) :P

BTW, here's the icon for [info]lacy ! ;D
I hope she'll like it ... it was fun to draw and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
I think I'm improving! Enjoy

Very well ... some "Art" more or less ;D I promised to myself that I'd have drawn the medieval castle of Monza, and here we go.
The castle was build around the 1325 by Galeazzo I Visconti, Lord of Milan, to protect the city and then Galeazzo II enlarged the building adding a ditch and using the water of the Lambro River. The castle was sadly known for its prisons called "I Forni" (The Ovens), the prisoners were dropped in dome-shaped cells in the main tower-keep foundations.
The castle was center of many sieges and battles ... until the 1527, when the oppressed citizens put a mine in the building foundations and partially destroying the main tower; The building was abandoned and then completely demolished in the 1807 (the reasons are a bit unclear - I didn't find many documents; probably the fault goes to the Austrians because they used bricks and stones for the Royal Garden walls), the only part left is the smallest tower, the tower of the drawbridge built on the western bank of the Lambro River.

Well, nothing special ... it's just a doodle, but I like it after all! =)
(it's harder to draw without real attrition) XD

Just like with real medias, I'm lazy and don't like to change the brush size very often :P

Some sketches after a long radio silence ... well, I was busy as you know (anyway that big project is stillin my to-do-list and it's almost done ;)
Architecture, concepts for a romanesque chapel between the mountains in a story of mine. They're just doodles, I didn't spent much time on perspective and details. I drew these when I was in my office; my boss won't be back before the 20th fo March and I had to fill 9 hours! :P XD

BTW, how's my new watermark? =) Personally I think that's a lot better than the previous version ... I think it's more "fresh".
Comments are WELCOME!!! =D

Do you prefer the version with porch and apse or the one without apse and porch (just above the ruined one; the version with double window and small bell)?

Ok, thanks God, that passed ... I hope don't have to repeat it over and over again. (Sorry for boring you all with that stupid thoughts)
Anyway, other pretty good news:

I finally got paied, I got 400 Euros!!! =D It'd be a good thing if I find a job too now.
Meanwhile I have another commission from the same guy ... it's just another boring catalogue.

I'm still working on that collaboration with [info]thornwolf, my part is almost done and it's turning out awesome I think! =) I can't wait to see it finished! :P ;)
However, I won't post my part until Nicole - [info]thornwolf won't finish her part of this (fantastic) piece; I just want to keep it a surprise for you all! ;D Eheh ... It's full of hidden meanings, and now I'm trying to find a good title: I was thinking something in latin, cause it's "universal"; it's not Italian, English, or Spanish at least.

The second title will be translated in those three languages, it will explain the composition. (Anyway, I should ask an opinion to Nicole - BTW, if you're reading this, don't think about that ... I won't bother you with this until you'll say that's the right moment)

Well, that's all for now!
See you soon folks! =D
