Hi everybody! I finally have a paypal account, so I'll finally able to accept commissions, donations and do a couple of things more! =)

I want to thank you all for reading my journal ... and I hope to thank you all in next future for buying something with my signature on it ;D In other words, asking me commissions and other things like LJ Icons, Bagdes, Sketches ... etc.
As many people do, I want to put my "tip jar" too; donations are always welcome! ;) they'll sure help me in buying new art supplies. However I want to underline that's not obligatory, it's just a detail to help an 'Artist' with his works (of course). =)

Thanks for your attention guys ... and thanks for your potential donations!!!

Hey! Yesterday night I watched UP in 3D with my old friends and I liked it very much. Personally I think it's a nice story powered by amazingly crazy ideas in a positive way; those character designers did a wonderful job, personally I'd have never imagined such a spectacular result. I really loved all those graphic details here and there, and I particularly liked the main character (Carl Fredricksen) because he looks like my grandfather! XD

Well, talking more seriously, I also liked the figure of Charles F. Muntz; it's a pity he gets so insane, lunatic and paranoid for that stupid bird. However he confirms my theory: often the antagonist could be a lot more fascinating and knotty than the main character. Personally I don't think he should die like that ... ok, he tried to kill Russel and burn Mr. Fredricksen's house, but that's not a good reason to let him die; he's an old grumpy bastard, but personally I think that a good dose of humiliation (mixed with some adverse conditions) would have been enough for him. In other words, he should suffer and slowly pay for what he did.

Anyway I confess that I love Muntz's airship; a character of mine (invented 8 years ago) also uses a big airship prototype to reach South America ... how IRONIC!!! BTW, when I saw that "fossil chamber" I was litterally drooling, I thought "somebody has stolen my ideas!" ;) :P

Well, now I want to show you how it sounds in Italian: I hope you'll like it!

Hi everybody! Finally I've got my line back and I can communicate with you again ...
I spent my first week at the University and I liked it, there're a lot of new things to do and probably the best one is 'Paleography' (recently I had to transcribe the first part of Dante Alighieri's purgatory from an ancient illuminated version of the famous Divina Commedia - late XIV century). Now, I just hope to find enough time to study what I missed during the past month and everything will be OK. =)

40 minutes by train are acceptable, those surroundings are not as stressful as Milano; the lake is a very relaxing place and there're a lot of things to do. Como is a beautiful city with a a lot of history: every single brick and stone can tell you something about its glorious and rich past. (I promise to post some photos in the next future).

Meanwhile I want to show you these:
The faculty of Law and Jurisprudence is located inside an ancient monastery, close to the romanesque abbey of St. Abbondio (built in 1050). I'm kind of jealous because my section is located inside an horrible complex built during the '70s ... Anyway, they're still restoring a good part of that medieval monastery, and I really hope they'll move my faculty (Cultural Heritage and Arts) over there! XD

If you don't know where Lake Como is, just take a look on googlemaps. BTW, there're around 45 km (28 ml) between Como and Lissone, which is the city with the nearest train station.

If you've ever been in Las Vegas, the name "Bellagio Hotel & Casino" should be familiar to you ... ok, near Punta Spartivento you'll find the original town of Bellagio, one of the most beautiful cities around. However, if you're more interested in celebrities, Laglio is the right place for you: over there you'll probably find Mr. George Clooney walking downtown; they say he's a nice and simple guy and I hope to find him someday! XD

That's all for now folks! See you next time! ;D

Hi everybody!!! I'm writing this short post from my University in Como, I still have no wireless line inside my courtyard. :P
I hope everything is ok ... I miss you all, and I can't contact anybody for this stupid lack of line.

However, things are fine down here; Lombardy could be ugly sometimes, but it tastes like home ;)
I'll try to keep in touch!

See you next time!!!

I think I'll love this series, I checked a couple of things and it's just perfect; They respected the Italian history adding some 'pepper' in all the right places. I just hope they'll show something more about Milan, but Florence is just perfect! =D

I suggest you to take a look here ... ;)

Hi everybody! I missed you all in these days!!!
It was a strange vacation because ... there was no vacation for me :P

Well, I have to say that I really enjoyed my cousin's wedding. BTW, I know he's planning to spend his honeymoon in California; so, I asked: "Ok, just be sure to have an empty bag ... It'd be a good hiding place for me!" XD
However, I had no time to relax because (*drum rolls*) I finally found a new university in Como! I'll start in November I suppose, when I'll back in Italy - Art Sciences and Cultural Heritage: which includes history, history of arts, archeology, literature, languages, etc. I'm pretty happy, but really tired after all of this.

Ok, now it's time for some photos (I hope to post more of them); this is a short session about the wedding with me, my parents and ... a lot of cold starters. =)
Photos under this cut ... )

I hope to have news from you; I haven't red anything yet, I don't have much time unfortunately.
Now I've to go, let me know if you're still alive guys! ;D See you soon.

Well, tomorrow I'll go back in Italy for a couple of weeks (I'll be here again on October 15); I really hope to relax a bit. I just want to say that I'm really sorry for being so absent in these days, however I didn't forgot you and your kind words. =)

Probably this is the occasion I was looking for ... a new start, a new way of life. I've always appreciated my 'surroundings' and my conditions, I consider myself very lucky and I've thank God for that; Anyway, In these months the loss of my sweet Diva was like a smack ... my small world has lost is brightness, but I'm happy because that kind creature made me learn a lot of important things.

Now I'll try to put those things to good use: I discovered how I love my parents, my family; Probably, even if I spent an horrible summer, this will be a quite pleasant Autumn and Winter. I hope that everything will go better from now on.

See you next time my friends!
Take care you all ...

Hi everybody! I just want to tell you that I'm still alive ... I feel really tired; I feel strange: sometimes I start crying and sometimes I feel pretty relaxed, sometimes I feel sad and sometimes really happy. I don't understand!

I don't even want to write this post.
The good news is that I finally finished my season at that stupid aquapark!

I wish to talk with somebody ... but not via chat for now; I prefer to read your comments on LJ if have something to tell me; I'd really appreciate you suggestions if you have some.

Hi everybody! Unfortunately my plan to move in Northern Ireland didn't work as I expected, but someone told me that EU students can ask for tuition fees in Scotland; since I can study "for free" I was thinking to apply online and see what happens. However, I really don't know what to choose ... I mean, there're so many things I'd like to learn, but I don't know which faculty will allow me to find a job 'easily'.

I was pointing to Glasgow, and there're three universities for me:
The University of Glasgow (I'd choose Arts)
The University of the West of Scotland (I'd choose Languages or Digital Art)
The Glasgow School of Art

What do you think?
Could you give me your opinion?

Thank you so much for reading here! =)

I'm at good point with my little 'thing' at home ... I'm getting close.
Well, I feel really tired; I think I'll try to post some news tomorrow.
The situation is pretty "normal" right now, I just need to finish my digital chores before feeling free to breath again; probably I'll finally feel relaxed once everything is done. BTW, I hope that July and August will pass quickly.

The good thing is that I can test my skills with english and irish people.
PS: I miss you all guys!

Hey! I was cleaning my digital library and I found these photos I took in the ex-royal gardens of Monza; we were working on a short videoclip called "Star Worse" ... it was so funny! XD eheheh
I was the commanding officer or something, and for that occasion I used my father's uniform. =)

I thought to add a peculiar touch to my character, using one of my sun lenses and a little chain on my glasses. ;) Now I think I look like Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid III … vaguely. :P

I’m an one-eyed man too! XD

Hi everybody ... recently my laptop computer was acting oddly: in the middle of my screen appeared a bright stripe. My neighbour is a computer engineer, so I asked for help; I should replace my screen with a new one, he said. Fortunately this time was only the screen! I had to buy a new graphic card one year and a half ago, but since it was attached to the motherboard, I had to replace that too.

In other words, my HP Pavilion zd8000 has a 'new' motherboard and grahic card (1,5 years - I've already spent 400 euros for it) and now I need to change a 17'' screen (265 euros); do you think it's a good idea?
It's an XP service pack 3 and I have all my programs in there (I can't use them on Vista). It was a good computer after all, I spent 700 euros and not 1.500 when I bought it 4 years ago ... personally I'd like to repair it instead of buying a new one. My father doesn't agree.

However I've my savings!
Tell me, what should I do? Repair the old one, or buy a new laptop?

If you need more informations, just ask. It's really important!
I'll aprecciate your opinion very much! =)

Finally I found a job for this summer: I'll work in a Acquapark for a couple of months (at least I'll get some money); I won't have much time, but I think I'll able to what I planned. ;) I'm slowly fixing my things and I can't wait to finish! XD

I'm doing fine after all ... just a bit tired.
See ya! =D

I recently bought a new PC ... it'd be fantastic, but it's working with Vista Business and a good half of my programs don't work at all!
I have an old CD with Windows XP SP2; I got it when I bought my laptop a couple of years ago, do anyone of you know if I can replace Vista with XP with that CD? It says "Distributed only with a new PC HP or Compaq" ... but if I have its key it should work anyway, right?

PLEASE, IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT!!!

Hi everybody! Yes, I'm still alive; I worked a bit with a friend of mine as bricklayer ('Pecunia non olet') and I painted my balustrade. I'm really, really tired and a bit depressed; honestly I don't even know why. :S

Today we went to Montblanc and I had the pleasure to visit the Medieval Fair; I also took a tour between the cathedral's spires, and I was walking close to its bells when the clock struck four ... what a nice sound! I love bells!!! =)

It was a nice day! These ARE nice days: I bought a couple of nice things and I'm going to fix few 'wrong' details in my room. BTW, I watched 'Kung Fu Panda' and I liked it a lot! (For that reason, I decided to use again my boken in memory of my beloved Aikido lessons) :P

I try to entertain myself, but I feel a bit depressed ...
However, I enjoy the nice things I have!
